correction

In my last post I quoted a passage, actually 2 verses from judges, I did not tell you which chapter, it is chapter 13 verse 8 and 12.
I also like the description in 1 Kings 3 verse 8 and 9.  Solomon is calling the people who God gave him charge over," This so great a people". I love it. We as dads need to see our children as , " this so great a people". They are little people which God has given you charge over, remember you are raising people for God, you need Godly wisdome for that task.

Have a wonderful day, I love you.

Fathers

I  love the concept that scripture uses as God being a father to us. I come from a family of 15. I used to say 14, one little girl died before I was born, in Gods eyes she is still part of the family. I had a loving caring father, not perfect but a God fearing man. I was blessed with 6 wonderful daughters and a very caring wife and mother of our children.
I talk a lot about fathers on the radio, we as fathers should be an example of our heavenly father to our children. In their eyes you have always existed you didnt have a beginning and you dont have an end, you provide all for them when they are in need they come to you, they cry out to you.
We as fathers need wisdome from our  Heavenly Father in order to train our children.

Judges; 8 and 12 both verses say about the same thing, Help me Lord to train this child  you have promised to us.  This is upon conception that Manoah is asking for help. This is the time to start raising your young adults. You are not raising teens or children you are raising adults for His kingdome.  To all fathers, may you seek him in your task, see children as a treasured blessing from God . Then I think they will be a blessing to you and the community you live in.

           May God richly bless you.

                 Love

Voices

Luke 23:23  And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and the chief priests prevailed.
Pilate wanted to release Jesus, he was more concerned about his worldly position than what Jesus had to offer.
We as parents to our young children need to be careful as to what voices are affecting our children. The voices come through the media of all sorts and now it is in the hands of our children. Will those loud voices prevail in their life?
It will take more than a few devotionals, bible studies, church services, etc. to squelch the loud voices. The battle is real and it is beyond our power or ability as parents. I sugest what  Jehoshaphat did when he faced an impossible to beat enemy.
2Chronicles 20:12  We have no might and we dont know what to do, but our eyes are on you.

I hope and pray that we as parents and grandparents can
lead a life before our children that would speak loud
voices that would turn the eyes of our children to our
                                  source of direction,   Jesus Christ

Still learning

I still dont know what I am doing, better Logger than a Blogger, I am practicing, What I would like to accomplish is to encourage the reader to stay faithful and available to God. Ask God to give you a love for the people He has put in your pathway.
I read Isa. 55:11  My word will accomplish what I want it to acccomplish, What we need to do is get his word out in a way that will  give the listner an appetite for more. I cant think of a better way than with Love.

                I love you,
